Here's his contract situation: It's a hard decision...for me it's gonna be depending on what the cap increase is (or isn't) going to be. Right now, I think I'd have to lean towards keeping him one more season and then dumping him?
I would ride Keenum and maybe bring another guy along...someone they could draft in the second round that still has NFL starter potential.
Schaub as a starter in the league is done and would only serve as a distraction for whoever is next. In other words, dump him and let someone else have their shot. As for Case Keenum, yeah he looks decent so far, but considering where they could be picking, does Case offer greater potential than the guys coming out do? Personally, I don't think he does, but I can't say that with full confidence as at this moment in time I'm not hugely familiar with Bridgewater, Mariotta and Hundley).
