I have to go with Joe Staley. What he has done this year has been ridiculous Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Here is Joe Staley VS Joe Thomas this year Staley : 2 sacks allowed, 2 QB hits allowed, 9 Pressures allowed Thomas : 1 Sack allowed, 8 hits, 18 hurries
Pass protection stats for the top 10 LTs this year from PFF Staley :2 sacks, 1 hit , 9 pressures Thomas: 1 sack, 8 hits, 18 pressures Trent Williams: 6 sack, 6 hits, 18 pressure Jordan Gross : 4 sacks, 1 hit, 19 pressures Jake Long: 5 sacks, 2 hits, 21 pressures Andre Whitworth: 4 Sacks, 3 hits, 11 pressures Nate Solder: 9 sacks, 2 hits, 18 pressure Tyron Smith: 1 Sack, 3 hits, 24 pressures Cordy Glenn: 1 Sack, 3 hits, 17 pressures
Just judging by the stats, Smith isnt consitent enough yet to be in the top 3. Pass rushers arent getting there hands on the QB anymore on him then any other LT in the NFL, but he is giving up more pressures. Tells me he needs a little more consistency with his technique
