The Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons might have to borrow Wimbledon's strawberries and cream tradition for breakfast at Wembley. The NFL announced Wednesday that the Falcons and Lions will kickoff at 9:30 a.m. ET on Oct. 26 when the two teams play in London next season. "We are excited about playing three regular-season games in the UK for the first time," NFL chief marketing officer Mark Waller said, "and debuting a new game time that we expect to be a hit with fans on both sides of the Atlantic and around the world." I always get a "kick" out of the London fan base for getting so excited over punt and kick returns. My pick, Lions by 13
I like how two Cowboys and a Bears fan are upset about a Lions/Falcons being played earlier in the day when more than likely they have no intention of watching it anyway. As a Brit, I'm over the moon that there's a 1pm kick off here.
We kicked your asses in World War Two, we oughter be able ta tell YOU when you can watch the football, not t'other WAY AROUND. It's MURICAN FOOTBALL after all, not LIMP d**k LIMEY TATER TOSSIN!!! MURCA!!!
