Ex-Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum said the Tim Tebow trade was his biggest mistake in New York. "Obviously we made a couple mistakes –- trading for Tim Tebow most notably," Tannenbaum told CBS Radio. It's hard to argue with Tannenbaum, who now works for NFL Network and Yahoo! Sports and also has dipped his toes in the agency business. Sanchez screwed the team worse as a whole because of the wasted pick and the contract. But Tebow makes him look stupider.
Tebow was a risk that didn't work. Paying Sanchez that kind of money and giving him that contract freaked the team even more IMO.
