:ROFLMAO: I just can't figure with the cohesiveness they have and the trees up front they would want to risk this head case. (Like I know more than Larry Bird).
why does anyone still take chances with this guy. Not a big basketball fan but that dude is always hurt. Bad knees don't just magically get better.
I can actually see the value in it as long as they didn't may him max money. Even though he's a head case, you have to trust the Pacers are a tight enough group that he won't be causing any problems. Keep in mind, he is still seven feet tall and he does have two championships under his belt.
This was a very smart move by the Pacers. The Pacers have one glaring weakness, and that is their Bench. especially at C and PF, they have a huge hole. He will be cut very quickly if he misbehaves and will be on a super short leash. For Bynum this is the dream situation, on the Heat he would have received too much media attention, here in Indiana it is much more discreet and exactly what he needs. he will either fail big time or it will be a marriage made in heaven for both teams. I absolutely love this move
No contract details have been released as of yet. But there is wide speculation that he was signed for a tiny little bit over the minimum contract. 1 million is what is believed he signed, minimum is around 860k I am sure they will have some good clauses in the contract. Again, even if he doesn't set food on the basketball court, this was a genius move, if only to get him away from other EAST contenders.
that is a contract that is not bad for the team. In that case then it was a very good hire. When he is on he is pretty damn good.
