Does the recent cuts change the way you look at the draft for the Saints?

Do you target BPA? Or do you package a deal to move up to get a higher quality, hopefully, player. I know that with the injury to Greer, he was pretty much done for as a Saint. But it exposed some of the backups that may be called upon to step it up. While Corey White is serviceable, he don't have that wow factor. Maybe all he needs is the chance to play a lot to get more consistent. Other than Keenan Lewis, who has really impressed me, and White, we don't have any decent corners. Offensive line is also a need. I think we need to get a lineman in the earlier rounds instead of depending on hitting on one in the later rounds. One day that can come back to haunt ya. Picking in the mid 20's kinda sucks. Too late to really get an impact player usually.Or do you go tight end? Maybe a receiver? What do you think?

Patrice Robinson was improved before injuries. He will be back right?

Not sure. That was a pretty good injury. I was not really impressed with him but I went to the Saints website and checked out his stats. Seems his stats was not that bad. He looked, to me at times, out of position to make a play on the ball. I still think we need another big corner either by draft or free agency. When Lewis went down it really exposed our dbs.

You'll still get a good player if you stay in your current draft slot. This draft is really deep in a lot of positions.

We will see. If that is the case then I can see Coach trading out of the first round and collect more picks. If it is that deep then maybe a couple of 2nds and thirds picks this year is better.

I just did this on the firstpick.com simulator. It is possible to get some good quality players in this draft even though you are drafting late in the round, and with a little creativity turn 6 picks in to 9.
When you need a new GM,give me a call :ROFLMAO:
