if he doesn't start having concussion like symptoms ya'll should be fine.. he'll do well in you system.
Like this trade for the Eagles if he is the Sproles that we saw the first two seasons with the Saints...he had a tiny bit of a decline as far as scoring and fumbled the ball a couple times, but to get a back that has led the league in receiving for RBs since 2009 for a 5th round pick is a pretty good deal. If there is a back in the league that fits Kelly's offense, Sproles has to be in the conversation...
It is a no lose for the Eagles. They pick like a couple of spots ahead of us, so like what 24th or 25th? Granted his play declined overall but he was a first down machine last year. Good third down back, pick up the first down and get off the field. So, do you think you can hit on a 5th rounder to come in and get first downs like him? Catch all the balls out of the backfield like him? Probably not, so it was a great pick up for the Eagles. And it was good for the Saints. Was going to get rid of him anyway so Loomis got a 5th rounder for him. Possible ammo for a trade up for someone they are targeting.
They really didn't give up anything since it was the 5th they received by trading Sopoaga to the Pats. In Kelly's offense, you can never have too many playmakers. Nice insurance policy if McCoy misses a couple games. Now it definitely looks like Brown will be cut if he isn't traded. I've always liked Polk.
if you need a guy to get you first downs to sustain drives then that is your guy. he can't carry a team anymore but in spot duty he is pretty damn good.
this is a great move. fixes the return game and the guy can probaly excel in this offense. mccoy jackson maclin cooper celek/ertz go ahead, double cover someone .... I dare you.
sure, he will get you first downs. He did that well. But his yards average per catch was around 8 which isn't bad I grant you but he only got 4 touchdowns total. Two each receiving and running. He isn't the back he was. He may give them one year but he goes down too easily now.
