With the NFL season four months away and the NFL Draft still a month away, there is time to think about other topics around the league. One thing that has come to mind is the idea of what the NFL could do to realign their divisions. It isn’t something that is on the front burner […]

Seems like an idea worth considering.Although using logical thinking isn't something the NFL head office is known for!

Yes I wrote this. Just something to throw out there while the offseason continues. I know logical isn't the name of the game there for sure.

whew. thank God the league didn't come out with this. the premise is sound but it has a few flaws. one thing is that you done away with the Saints/Falcon rivalry . I mean, you have to give them something to look forward to twice a year. :D But seriously, the Saints would be better geographically in the Southwest with Dallas, Houston and Arizona. But overall, seems decent. Not trying to burn it or anything like that. Hell, I couldn't come up with anything better..

You lose some major rivalries. In my opinion it would only bring a "new dynamic" to the game until everyone got used to the new divisions then it would be the same old.

There are some rivalries that go out the windows. New Orleans could move to the Southwest but was just trying to put the teams as close together as I possibly could. There would be no perfect solution. Just imagine if the NFL wanted to add more teams or teams ended up in London or back in Los Angeles. Realignment would have to happen then. It's just my idea for the time being.

I would like to see Seattle, San Fran and New England in the same division. Also would like to see Oakland, Jacksonville, Minnesota and Cleveland in the same division, maybe a tean would win the division with a 4-12 record. That would fluff the asshole of Roger Godell.
