Sometimes comedians come up with some hysterical crap. Jimmy Fallon is one of those comedians. (#Ew!) Sometimes baseball players have the means and wherewithal to work the supply and demand of baseball’s marketplace to their own financial benefit. Robinson Cano is one of those players. This off-season, Cano signed a 10-year, $240 million contract with the Seattle Mariners. This weekend, Cano returned to New York for the first time. Fallon and his staff chose to capitalize on that visit and in doing so, provided us with not only some tremendous humor but also an interesting case study in how differently the average fan reacts to athletes when they’re on the field, hundreds of feet away, as opposed to when we see them up close and personal. Enjoy! http://sportschump.net/2014/04/30/j...robinson-cano-back-new-york-city-video/13786/
I saw this on sportscenter. I wish they could do stuff like this for Twitter. I think a lot of people would think twice before they said some of their bs.
Hysterical, wasn't it, Dawk. And Stev-o, you are most definitely right about that. Perhaps Donald Sterling should have thought twice as well.
i love all the yankee fans that think Cano is a 'sellout'. it's one of the more ironic things i've seen in a long time considering every yankees team every year is comprised of nothing but overpaid, veteran 'sellouts' that leave their original teams for the big payday.
