In your original article you said "...it was about the talent that got him drafted and not the expected media attention." I think everybody would agree with that. What will be interesting is if/when Sam gets cut by the Rams, will the media say he was cut because he wasn't good enough or will they pounce and say he was cut because he was gay? Keeping in mind that media's job is to make news, I'm betting on the latter just for the sake of a headline/story.
