The announcement of where Super Bowl LII would be on Tuesday had many layers to it. There was Indianapolis, who had put together a great experience for the game in 2012. yes it will but unless you put a roof on that whole city the expericence beyond the game will be brutal.
There is nothing wrong with giving Minneapolis the game but the NFL must be hoping in a big way that the weather is good all week which isn't likely in Minnesota in February.
I've always thought every city with a team should host one. Rotate it so it's fair to all that want it. If it's good enough to have regular season game in a stadium, it's good enough for the Super Bowl. I don't give a crap about the money made or lost, or how inconvenient it may be for some.
