I was listening to Tim Armstrong's show on Sirius this morning. His guest was Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats. He talked about their first tour in England. Mike Peters and The Alarm opened for their first 5 gigs. After the 5th gig, Mike Peters told them that they really weren't supposed to be their opener. They followed the band and just brought their equipment up and plugged in. The Stray Cats thought it was hilarious and made them officially their opener after that. How ducking Rock & Roll awesome is that?
Someone on another site said that Petty album is really good too. He saw him in concert last night and said Tom tore it up. I like Petty just never enough to buy anything of his.
