What's everybody got on their holiday agenda this weekend? I originally was gonna throw a small BBQ on the 4th, but rain has washed away those plans apparently. Going to my parents' house for a BBQ on Saturday followed by watching fireworks on the river.
I'm not doing anything. Wife works all weekend, mom and sister are at family reunion in Alabama, so the kids are all mine all weekend.
Working a half day, taking my new spey rod out for some casting practice in the afternoon, neighborhood bbq in the evening.

Went to a friends house for some grilling and beer. Was a good time. Not going to the fireworks this year since I have to work tomorrow. Dealing with the traffic, the late start time of the show, and since once they finally start it's over before you know it makes going to the fireworks over-rated for me.
Had Kabobs, Corn on the cob, Watermelon for dinner along with some tater salad. Just got done watching the Fireworks from the front yard.
My brother and I went to our parents house yesterday. The four of us started drinking around 1pm. My 71 year old Dad tapped out around 11:30pm. Around 1am when my brother and I decided it was time to take the 10 minute walk to his house, my 70 year old Mom was sad to see us go. She wanted the party to keep going haha.
Small get together at the omen household then went about 5 min from house to watch a fireworks display. Ate drank beer. Here's a pic
