A. Luck QB M. FORTE RB G. BERNARD RB R. RICE RB F. JAX RB K. ROBINSON RB M. CRABTREE WR D .JACKSON WR R. RANDLE WR T. SMITH WR D. HOPKINS WR J. BOYKINS WR K. BENJAMIN WR C. FLEENER TE PITTSBURG DEF I don't have a kicker
This is a hard one. Do you need to keep 1 tight end? If not, I'd drop Fleener. I believe Allen is going to be the main pass catching tight end, with Fleener used more as a blocker. There isn't a ton of upside with Fred Jackson now that Spiller and Brown are in the backfield, but Jackson is a Spiller injury away from decent value. It comes down to Fleener, Jackson or Boykins. @Kurt might even say Robinson is worth dropping over the other guys I mentioned since he'll be the bruising back sharing with Ingram.
My opinion is Boykins, however I would wait a couple of weeks(at least until after week 3 of preseason) to pick up a kicker. Gives you a better idea of how teams plan to use certain players.
No way I'm dropping Boykins... 3rd WR catching balls from Rodgers.. he is one injury away from #2 but still have value at #3 - ROBINSON is of no value until Ingram get hurt, period. Peyton uses 3 backs and you'll only start one if you're desperate. Long term ROBINSON could be the future, but I doubt it with Ingram likely to get an extension. Drop ROBINSON for a kicker and yes wait a little while. ________________________ PLAN B _______________________ Your WR depth is solid, SO lets use it. Try making a two for one trade - or a three for two - Offer - FJAC or KROB + T. SMITH or D. HOPKINS or J. BOYKINS Accept - any upgrade at TE - find someone that has two TE - gotta be several in your league. Also, as an option toss Fleener into your trade mix as a 3 for 2 deal. Either way you open a spot for kicker and upgrade your TE - This will take multiple offers to every single person in your league...
Was this the best trade thrown back at you with the other trade scenarios Kurt have you? Or is this what you're offering? This move upgrades your tight end unit somewhat, but the Texans also like Ryan Griffin. Much more athletic than Graham and could work his way into the offense fairly quickly. Fleener and Graham are ranked right about the same in mock drafts. I think you're just better off dropping Robinson for the best kicker available on the wire and then standing pat. Jackson still has some worth left considering Spiller's injury proneness.
