49ers Waive RB Lamichael James

Running back LaMichael James, a second-round draft pick in 2012, has asked for and been granted his release from the San Francisco 49ers, the team announced Monday.

His agent, Jeff Sperbeck, tweeted the news late Monday morning.

Saw this coming long time ago. Just wish they had cut him instead of Winston. Now Niners are thin at RB and CB smh
