I thought I would start a thread for ALL to just talk about their crapty week. Or GREAT week, but don't gloat too much. I have 7 leagues. I lost 2 this week. 1 of them by 4 Points to the owner of this site @Kurt Thanks. At least his Saints lost! :) The other is my main league and I was playing against my nemesis. I always lose against this guy, 6 years now, I have only beaten him once. I was up by 37.1 points and my opponent still had Calvin Johnson and Jason Pierre Paul to play. Calvin Johnson scored 36.9 and JPP came in and had 3 pts. OUTCH it hurt.....
I closed my losing gap to 8 points at the end of the Lions game thanks to Megatron and Freese only have it snatched away by Weddle doing nothing and Michael Floyd going off in the nightcap. However, the loss basically comes down to Romo and RG3 looking worse than 90% of the QB's in the NFL right now in my QB, QB/RB/WR/TE league.
I won both my leagues. The one by large margin thanks to j Thomas and Matt ryan. The other league was close due to lacy and dez bryant. My top 2 picks combine for only 15pts. Hope lacy suits up and dez drinks enough gator ade this week
Here's how I get ducked Week One: Commissioner announces waiver wire will run September 10. Team I'm playing drafts Matt Prater and drops him. Commissioner allows him to pick up Zuerlein. He scores 12 points, I lose by 11. No one else is allowed to make a roster move. Bull crap. Am I wrong?
Depending on all the circumstances, was the guy an auto draft/ did he have a reason he couldn't add a player before the games. But if the commissioner just decided to allow him to have the player after making a rule then it's bullcrap I would demand my money back and never participate in that league again.
I feel your pain. I had the 2nd pick in my local league and was praying the guy with the first would take Charles because I wanted McCoy. I know Charles can't replicate last year's numbers, but damn. Come on Andy, give the guy the ball.
