I cant see why you'd take it. Romos no upgrade at QB, and Maclin isn't much better than Wright/Tate from a FF perspective. IMO. Dont look at what just happened in a shootout game against a pretty awful secondary and see it as being consistently repeatable, never buy high on one big game.
I have to disagree. I kind of like this trade. Maclin has scored a touchdown in the last 3 games and he's 8th in targets with 31. I think that addition makes up for the small downgrade to Romo from Stafford. You could use a decent WR3 and Maclin is an upgrade. I say a slight yes. I'd like my trade court partner @LebaneseFF to weigh in to. Only weird thing is the other team has ryan. why take stafford, unless he has another trade in the works.
Romo is a clear downgrade at QB from Stafford. But I look at your WR2 and flex and OUCH!!! man that hurts. even your RB is hurting thanks to AP. I would counter and ask for more. He clearly has something up his sleeve. he has Dalton and Matt Ryan... Ask for either one + Maclin (better then Romo) or ask let him give you Romo and 2 other players Maclin and Bennett. You could use the help! I wouldn't accept this trade as is, but you do need to trade Stafford for depth (ASAP) and I understand what @Greg Brosh is saying here
With Ryan and Dalton already on his team, one of them or Stafford isn't going to be on his roster by the end of the week. He's planning a trade for someone else.
