Hey Guys, 3-0 coming into week 4 tied for first! I have your customizable draft sheet to thank for that! I have not had to make many moves so far, just to bolster my bench. I am having a little confidence issue in my flex situation. I being worked by BYE weeks and have to sit Bernard and Ball. I've got Rashad Jennings @ Wash and Darren Sproles @ SF starting RB1,2 and Antonio Brown vs TB and Pierre Garcon vs NYG starting WR 1,2. Right now I have Kelvin Benjamin@ Baltimore starting in my flex. I have Vereen @ KC, Kendall Wright @ Ind, and Larry Donnell @ Washington on my bench. Since Vereen is NOT guaranteed touches, I feel the need to sit him this week with his last 2 slow weeks. We ave a limit of 5 RB and 5 WR . My only other receiver is Josh Gordon who I am trying to stash until playoff push time. I don't really feel that I should drop anyone on my bench at this point. I try my best to not look at the ESPN projections but its hard not to since that is the league I play in. Those numbers make me second guess decisions every week! What do you think? Is there anything you would change? Thanks in advance for all the help!!
First off I'm eliminating Wright from the equation because not only is there a chance that Locker might not play, he won't be 100 percent if he does (wrist). The 49ers rank 3rd against fantasy backs, giving up 11.2. Not only that, the Eagles just lost another linemen in C Jason Kelce. They were already without Lane Johnson and Evan Mathis. This is one of the bigger reasons I felt McCoy couldn't get anything going on the ground in Week 3. That said, I still have to go Vereen. Don't go by projections because most of them aren't going to come to fruition. Vereen is the best of an inconsistent situation as I don't see Sproles' value climbing back up, at least not for this week. Donnell is a non-factor. The Redskins are tough against tight ends.
So based on what you said, i am taking away that I should bench Sproles and put Vereen in as RB2 and leave Kelvin Benjamin as my flex? Or put Vereen in as my flex and leave Sproles as RB 2? Thanks for the quick response!
