Hey guys, My undefeated streak has ended. I was beaten pretty badly due to injuries and underperformance from my team. I am now in a 3 way tie for first place at 4-1. I had Montee Ball, Rashad Jennings, and Jimmy Graham all go down with injuries, and Larry Donnell put up a big fat goose egg in my flex! I have a 5 RB and 5 WR roster limit in my league so I am going to be forced to drop players in order to pick up off the waiver wire at this point. I am still 10th place in waiver order so I am just putting in conditional waiver claims as I know someone will get picked up. I am currently set to drop Montee Ball for either Branden Oliver, or Andre Williams with Oliver being higher priority, and I am set to drop Sankey for Sproles at third priority. What do you think? Here is our current RB waiver wire sorted by projected score. View attachment 59155 This was impossible to predict and hopefully I can keep up with them with some successful WR play. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks Brian
I like everything except for Ball for Williams. Jennings is dealing with a sprain and won't be out as long as Ball will. So I would prefer Hillman in there before Williams since Hillman will be the main back in a committee.
Well, I got Hillman off waivers and that is it on offense. I dropped Corey Liuget for Marcell Dareus, and dropped Bobby Wagner for CJ Mosley. I am trying to work a trade for a top running back at this point. I have 2 people looking at my roster right now. I am considering trading Matt Ryan or Jimmy Graham at this point. What do you think? As far as start sit, I am basically starting Bernard, Vereen Rb 1,2 and Hillman at flex. Can I trust Sankey against Jacksonville? Can I trust Benjamin to put up some points against Cincinatti? Lots of questions here. Not sure what to do. I have definitely been rocked losing 2 starting RB in the same week. Any start/sit help is greatly appreciated! Thanks Brian
I would try and trade Ryan before Graham. Harder to find a tight end worth as much value week to week than it is for a quarterback. I'd still go Bernard, Vereen at running back with Hillman at flex. The matchup for Hillman isn't great, but he will get a bulk of the workload and receptions. Benjamin and Garcon are very close for me, but I still have to keep plugging in Benjamin due to the volume of targets he gets. Saw 11 last week.
Thanks Greg.....I saw you have Michael Floyd ranked pretty high this week so I took a couple screen shots of available WR sorted by projected, and by % owned. Do you think any of the guys available are worth dropping any of my WR for? Michael Floyd was dropped this morning when someone picked up Kendall Wright who I dropped last week! LOL I have 9 out of 10 waiver priority so I may not get him anyway but thought I might be able to put together some guys I could trade off for RB if possible? Thanks Brian View attachment 59158 View attachment 59159
I don't rank the receivers, but I'm nervous about Floyd if Palmer doesn't play. He was only limited today. He's been the epitome of boom or bust. I think Sanu might be your best option with Jones questionable again this week. Either him or Hawkins, who fits well within a full ppr league.
@boosted3 I am sorry I feel like I misled some people this week with the MUST ADD of CJ MOSLEY. You don't go dropping a top 5 LB for him. See if you can pick Bobby back up this week. I will be a little clearer in my waiver articles. (although it is very hard because everyone has such different IDP settings)
@LebaneseFF I considered that and won't just blindly drop someone. Mosley is the 7th scoring LB in my league right now and Wagner is the 18th so it made sense. He was just riding the pine behind Luke Kuechly anyway so I am just bolstering my bench. I may actually try packaging Mosley in a trade with Graham and one of my RB to go after Leveon Bell later today, and then I can still pick Wagner back up off the wire if needed! Thanks for following up though!
