Replacing Brees Week 6

Which QB would you target to pick up. In league 3 I have no back up in league 2 I have Romo at Seaahawks would you replace him with one of these guys.

Leauge 2 Options (Any guy better play than Romo)
Austin Davis vs SF
Brian Hoyer vs Pit
Mike Glennon vs Bal
Carson Palmer vs Wash
Jake Locker vs Jax
Ryan Tannehill vs GB
Teddy Bridgewater vs Det

League 3
Same list from Top exempt Palmer
Andy Dalton vs Car

 

Palmer if he plays, which I'm not sure he will. We'll know more after practice tomorrow. If not, I would just stick with Romo.

In league 2, I would go Dalton.

Phil is working on his QB rankings right now, so I would reference that list as well.

I agree. Dalton and Romo were close IMO anyways.

 

So who should I repalce him with from the list able. Hoyer is gone now.

You'll have to stick with Dalton for now. Palmer has been throwing fine, but has yet to put in a full practice. If he does by tomorrow evening, then I would pick up Palmer. We'll have to keep this thread going until then.

Ok, so league 3 doesn't have Palmer. Than I would play Dalton. I don't like your other choices,

League 2 wait for now and see if Palmer gets a full practice in. Don't make a move.

I was also looking to trade for Eli, I am willing to give up Vereen to him since he has Ridley. I can package Dalton+Vereen for his Eli since he already has Peyton. But I would like to try and get one of his other backs some who are banged up to sweeting up the deal for me for me such as Bush,Asiata,Spiller,Matthews. Which of the bunch would you target to trade.

 

Asiata is the best of the bunch, but that's not really saying a whole lot due to McKinnon. If Oliver winds up looking good again this week, everyone of those players will be in a committee. None of them have anymore upside than Vereen.

 

True. I really only need qb this week since I got brees. So just have to bite stick it out with Dalton at this point.
