Andre Ellington is officially out for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Glendale. Ellington suffered a sever hip pointer against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. Andre Ellington left Arizona’s Week 13 loss to Atlanta with a hip pointer, and was unable to practice in the week leading up to the game with the Chiefs. In 12 games this season, Andre Ellington has totaled 660 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while adding 46 catches for 395 yards and two touchdowns. Running backs Stepfan Taylor, Robert Hughes and Marion Grice will fill in for Ellington. Also listed as out for the Cardinals are safety Tyrann Mathieu (thumb), guard Paul Fanaika (ankle) and defensive end Ed Stinson (toe). After missing Arizona’s last two games with a knee injury, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is expected to be a game-time decision, though he was a full participant in Friday’s practice. Linebacker Larry Foote (foot) and tackle Jared Veldheer (ankle) are also considered questionable for Sunday’s game. Linebackers Lorenzo Alexander (knee) and Kenny Demens (hamstring) are probable. sportact.net
Arians has always said" Next man up" when an injury occurs, but this has gotten ridiculous. Cards will be fielding its 2nd team.
