With Forte and Murray both hurt on my team I'm in need of some RB help. James White is on waivers but I already have Blount so another NE RB isn't too appealing to me. I was offered a trade for Forte but I thought it was a bit lopsided. He offered Frank Gore and Mike Evans for M Forte and Dez Bryant. I'm not huge on Bryant mainly because he has Cassell throwing him the ball. So I'm not against trading him for a decent player in Evans but I'm going to need more than Gore in my opinion, but I understand we don't know when Forte is coming back either so I get the risk on his part. The guy's roster is; Rivers, Cousins Ivory, Gore, Starks, J Hill Mike Evans, J Landry, Desean Jackson, D Adams Jordan Reed, Antonio Gates I would love to snag Reed from him especially during this weeks match up (mainly because I'm sick of the poor numbers Graham has put up). But I'm not sure how to counter. I tried Forte, Dez and Graham for Starks, Evans and Reed. Not sure if that is a dumb move or not but I haven't heard anything from him yet. Just wondered if anyone had any other counters that I would work better for my interests. I'm sitting at 4-5 after being 4-1 to start. Injuries have killed me the last few weeks and someone always has a better waiver priority than me when it comes to grabbing players like Starks! Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks
Ha! He just countered with Jeremy Hill, Jordan Reed and Devante Adams for Jimmy Graham and Dez Bryant. Definitely don't think I can pull the trigger there! I must have pissed him off with my other offer!
Does a Gates, Landry (or DJax), Starks for Forte, Graham and Dez trade work for me? Or is that a bad move?
Honestly, I'm not sure I like any of these moves from your end. It depends on your opinion of Starks, though. As a GB backfield owner in one league, I can tell you: it sucks. I'd stay away.
With Luck out for a month, I'm staying away from all Colts. Honestly, I think your RB situation is better than you think. Yeldon and Blount will be fine spot starters until Forte and Murray are back- and Murray may not miss any time at all.
