Amazingly, I am in the semis of my inherited league. After an excellent draft (you thought so) Decker went out early and Gurley and Martin have been duds. The league is always a crap shoot because of the huge emphasis on scoring. Some games are won with just over 20 points and yet I scored 88 in the seven team Week 13 shootout for the eighth playoff slot! So I would like your opinion on this weeks game. Fortunately I benched Gurley again for his terrific 0 point showing last night! I have decided to start Luck vs. MIN over Mariota vs. KC (a decision that cost me two or three games this season) because the matchups are close to equally bad. And I will play Howard vs. GB and Kelley vs. CAR. Feel free to quibble with any of those choices. I will also use Ertz vs. BAL oand bench Fleenor vs. ARI. I need input for the last two skill slots - one must be a WR. My options are Piwell vs. MIA, Martin vs. DAL, Tate vs. NYG Cooper vs. SD and Montgomery (fills a WR slot in this league) vs. CHI. I'm tempted to go with Powell and Montgomery (4 RBs!) although I've been unable to get a read on Forte's status. Team #3: - (TD Heavy, 14 Teams): 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF Passing: 4 pts/TD - 5 if >40 yds, 3 pts 300-399 yds, 6 pts 400-499 yds, 10 pts >500 yds. Rushing & Receiving: 6 pts/TD, 9 pits/TD >40 yds, 1 pt 50-99 yds, 3 pts 100-149 yds, 4 pts. 150- 199s, 6 pts 200+ >yds

Martin doesn't seem to have the upside that TY and Cooper have. TY is in a good spot this week. With the wing blowing at 15mph I suspect a lot of short passes and screens. Also CHI isn't that stout against the run. Start Powell for sure if Forte is out, which I'm thinking he will be. Cooper is in a good spot with Crabtree nursing a finger injury. Cooper went off last time he faced SD, which is always a good sign.
I guess what I'm trying to weigh is the chance of Ty scoring any TD vs. the chance of Cooper catching any TD, and he brings the possibility of a 9 point TD (>40 yards).
play both - but Cooper is slightly risky with his shoulder injury. but should be fine if he can man up and stop worrying about the hit
