Our league allows one free drop/add between the draft and the first game. I drafted McCoy, DeMarco Murray, DeAndre Washington and Perine. I'm considering dropping Perine for Joe or Jonathan Williams. Also available are: Prosise, Smallwood, Bernard and, obviously many others. Do you think it would be a good move to replace Perine?

    Team #3: - (TD Heavy, 14 Teams): 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
    Passing: 4 pts/TD - 5 if >40 yds, 3 pts 300-399 yds, 6 pts
    400-499 yds, 10 pts >500 yds. Rushing & Receiving: 6 pts/TD,
    9 pits/TD >40 yds, 1 pt 50-99 yds, 3 pts 100-199 yds,
    6 pts 200+ >yds

Jonathan is a really good handcuff especially since u have McCoy. Perine seems to be struggling, you could probably drop him and grab him later if he starts showing improvement.

Since it's not a PPR league you're not interested in Prosise, Smallwood, Bernard

Since you're looking at RB, what other RB's are on the wire? If you're looking for WR list them to..

    Some other RBs available are:
    Pumphrey
    Alfred Morris
    Foreman
    Chris Johnson
    Langford
    Henderson
I really wasn't inspired by any of the remaining backs which is why I picked Perine in the first place. The only others I was considering were Williams'. But Perine's performance has made me reconsider.

My WRs are Demaryius, Tyreek, Golden Tate and Zay Jones. Instead of Jones I considered:
    J.J. Nelson
    Corey Coleman
    Golladay
    John Brown
    Thielen
We discussed the slot Jones is in and you liked Thielan best, although this scoring system is not as favorable to him. I didn't tell you that Nelson and Brown were also available.

    Thanx -

I don't Thielen will be so hot in a non-ppr league - I don't think a rookie WR in a run first offense (Zay Jones) will out perform John Brown - and its not even close - only issue with Brown is just how many games you'll get out of him. Id go with John Brown ARI

Jonathan for Perine isn't a bad idea to backup McCoy.

I'm still obsessing about the final RB for this team. I see that Charles Simms is available. Would you drop either DeAndre or Perine and pick him up? He could be a good start, at least for Weeks 2-4.

Jacquizze is the projected goal line back while Martin is gone... DeAndre is one I'd keep as Lynch could be out of shape and who knows how his body will react after being retired for 12 months.

Perine is one that is currently 3rd on the depth chart.. I don't see you starting any of these three you've mentioned at any point this season.. expect maybe a bye week???

Are you looking for a bye week replacement? What week are you concerned about? If it's weeks off then just sit tight and let's see what waiver wire darlings pop up =)

My bye weeks for my two starters are 6 and 8, and if one of my two bench RBs isn't usable I can use a 3rd WR. What I want to do is maximize my team for the season and I get one free drop/add between now and kickoff tomorrow. My goal each year is to not use that free one, but I drafted sufficiently crappily this year that if there is improvement available now, I'll save the $12 and let the other guys feed the pot! All of my questions about this team had the same motivation. So far, you're convincing me that despite drafting poorly in the late rounds all the players I should have chosen have been drafted, and I'm stuck with DeAndre and Perine. The main reason I regret picking DeAndre is Richard. Names I haven't mentioned yet are L. Murray, Cohen and Kamara.

With Kamara you can now drop DeAndre for Thielen.

Please post your entire team in your forum signature along with your scoring.. and throw up screenshot of you waiver wire if you like =)

Forgot only one move... Get Kamara with that move.. Mid-season you could be flexing him

Why do you like Kamara? I had considered him a long shot with both Ingram and Peterson in front of him. I thought Perine had a shorter path to playing time, which is why I reluctantly picked him. As I mentioned several times over the years, this league is crazy. I'm usually referring to the scoring system but the same goes for the roster. You must have a "legal" roster and lineup. A legal roster means at least two of everything, so you have to carry two Ks, DEFs, etc. the whole season or you forfeit games. So while we have eight bench slots, we really only have four.

hard to help you without seeing your bench or else I would have told you Kamara 8 years ago =)

if you watch preseason and read the beat reports like I do you would know that Kamara is going to get 8 to 12 touches a game.. and when Mark or AP goes down (AP isn't cutting as crisp on his repaired knee in workout videos I've seen) he will be like Perrier Thomas v2.9 on roids. I could see Kamara possibly even taking over the lion share of carries without an injury to the starters by mid-season.. or.. Peyton ends up playing them all like the do in NE..which would suck.. but even in that event I see Kamara getting the rock more than anyone.

But then again, we never do know.. do we? Grab Karama and for goodness sake and post your team info in your signature =) no one will find you here

Okay - I'm convinced. It's not just one move, I'm fine with the $, but I didn't want to make a move Friday for money when I can make it for free now.

Looks like you need help at WR. Can you post your WR waiver wire?

Here's the waiver wire. I'm not sure how you get a screen capture that will include a long list like this so I made a PDF out of it. Since there is no season data yet so CBS sorts these by their guess at average per game fantasy scoring which is essentially useless.

I like Hill a lot for your league setup.

keep an eye on Jordan Matthews. Taylor and Matthews could make magic happen, we will see. I think Matthews has more upside than Zay since he's the first read and not a rookie. Matthews had back to back 8 TD seasons in his rookie and softmore year.

I'd also keep an eye on Kevin White - watch these guys close as both could bolster your receiving corps.
