My TH heavy league drafted today and I think I did poorly. So I'd like your advice on improving my team. Between now and the first kickoff of Week 1 I can drop/add for free, after that it's $12. The players I drafted are: Starters: QB - Watson, RBs - Howard, Kamara, WRs - Kupp, Goodwin TE - Burton, K - Gano, DEF - DEN Bench: QB - Goff, RBs - Clement, Wilkins, WR - Mike Wms., Sterling Sheppard TE - Kroft, K - McManus, DEF - CHI My concerns are RB and WR. I have attached files of the top (based on CBS' view of these players in our scoring system) 60 or so WRs and RBs. My other question is based on what I now have, are these the best default starters (to be adjusted based on matchup)? Team #3: - (TD Heavy, 14 Teams): 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF Passing: 4 pts/TD - 5 if >40 yds, 3 pts 300-399 yds, 6 pts 400-499 yds, 10 pts >500 yds. Rushing & Receiving: 6 pts/TD, 9 pits/TD >40 yds, 1 pt 50-99 yds, 3 pts 100-199 yds, 6 pts 200+ >yds
While I like your WR core there are some serious watch list guys that could provide for improvement - keep an eye out for early production in weeks 1, 2, 3 Calvin Ridley - Keelan Cole - DeVante Parker - Jamison Crowder - Kenny Golladay - At running back your waiver wire is all pure speculation. But for the sake of your championship I think you have one hell of a RB core with Howard and Kamara - By week 3 it sure would be nice if you could grab another productive RB2 off the waiver wire. J Hill in NE could be a guy to watch.. along with CJ Anderson. Only time will tell who emerges, it's a fools errand guessing at this point. And yes, your starters look like your starters at this point =) Nice team.
