I'm picking Chiefs -6.5 before it goes to 10 and have a better shot. Cowboys open on sunday night agains the Giants... what else is new? 3.5 favorites, easy. I can’t believe it’s finally here!! I’m so pumped for the games. I have to go to bed early and won’t see much of the Thursday game. My Sunday plans: 1pm game - 49ers at Steelers - My brother is a 49ers fan and my Dad is from Pittsburgh. I love that they both like their chances in this game. I'm also rooting very hard against the 49ers all season long. Their team cried all offseason saying they would have beat the Eagles in the playoffs if they didn't lose both QBs. Both QBs were taken out by an Eagles pass rush. Their vaunted defense also got outphysicalled giving up 4 rushing TDs and 31 points. During commercial will probably flip to Red Zone or see what Commanders are up to. 4pm game - Eagles at Patriots - What an interesting way to start the season. Everyone now has plenty of film on the Eagles offense. Patriots don't have the type of roster that should win, but let's see what Bilichick come up with. Can he out scheme the Eagles new coordinators or is he not the same without Brady? I'll probably only be able to watch like a quarter of the Cowboys-Giants. Interesting game though. Obvious pressure on Dak and now the Giants have given players and faith into Daniel Jones. So cool to have a statement NFC East game right off the bat.

In 2012 the Chiefs went a full season without a WR catching a TD pass. This group is probably worse. For the first time in his career Patrick Mahomes looked pedestrian. The season starts with an upset, and I can't wait for more.
BTW if Dak had a game like Mahomes had last night (8 dropped passes, one of them becoming a pick-six) the internet would be on fire right now.
I didn't watch a second of the game. Will check out the highlights later. I keep becoming more and more worried about the Eagles against the Pats as the game gets closer. Quite a few have brought up the job Belichick has done against high powered offenses in the past, there might be heavy rain, SB losers typically start slow the next season, etc.... I just need the game to start because I'm tired of overthinking it.
Lost among all the hype of the opener and week 1 was the news that Joe Burrow signed a massive extension with the Bengals that averages 55 million per year and over 200 million are guaranteed. That's NBA money. Good for him.
I hate how good the 49ers looked today. I was hoping Purdy would struggle a bit. Not good for all non-49ers fans.
Eagles certainly were not impressive yesterday. I'm a little worried about Brian Johnson as the new OC. The offense looked completely different with much less RPO's and it looked like Hurts was always just focusing on one read. Goedart was open like all game long and Hurts only threw his way once. Good thing is that most of this is easily correctable and they got the win. I didn't see the Cowboys-Giants game, but I was shocked when I saw the score this morning. Wow.
That was one epic ass-kicking...I hadn't seen something like that from our defense in decades. I'm cautiously optimistic. Maybe the Giants just suck this year. We'll know better once we face a real team. Next week we get the Cowboy slayer, Aaron Rodgers, should be a better reference. In the gambling front I lost everything in the noon and afternoon games so I hedged a little and alongside Cowboys -3.5 I made parlay of Cowboys ML and Tony Pollard to score (+190) which hit very easily and I broke even XD.
Micah Parsons is entering that Aaron Donald zone in which not even a double team can stop him. And if it does, it clears the way for the other linemen to reach the QB. 7 sacks last night but only 1 by Parsons. And he got mad at the end when McCarthy pulled the starters up 40-0 in the 4th quarter. You can't cage a lion. This will be a fun season. We might not even need Dak to be elite, just effective, and don't turn the ball over.
Damn...Bradberry is in concussion protocol. With the Eagles playing on Thursday it's unlikely he will be cleared in time. Not good to lose a pro bowl caliber corner when playing the Vikings WR corps.
If you like an underdog and the line is less than 3, just take the moneyline. So that's what I did. Jets over Bills. Aaron's honeymoon in NY will last a couple more weeks.
Rodgers lasted 4 plays!! I saw his achilles snap and my bet algongside it but the Jets somehow won the game. It was amazing!! I just realized Josh Allen is incredibly overrated. He literally threw the game away.
