As requested by Chump, here are my top 5 picks in order of confidence: (Lines taken from Caliente sports app in my country) 1) Titans +1 over Bucs: I think Will Levis is the real deal and the Titans are fun to watch for the first time since the Steve McNair days. Damn, I'm old. 2) Texans +7 over Bengals: Also the real deal: CJ Stroud. I think the Bengals still win but it will be way closer than a 7 pt line. 3) Cowboys -16.5 over Giants: They just beat them by 40 on the road, Cowboys have won 11 straight at home, and this should be over by half time. I'm just afraid of a garbage time TD against our back-ups but I think they can handle it and still cover. 4) Jaguars +3 over 49ers: The 49ers are on a free fall and the Jaguars have figured it out. 5) Steelers -3 over Packers: The Steelers are the new Titans in the way that they're boring to watch but effective.
Got 'em. Good luck. And what's funny is we have a nudist resort right on the outskirts of Tampa Bay called... Caliente.
I hate when the Eagles have a bye week. Here's what I plan on watching Sunday: Early games - I will probably have both 49ers-Jags & Browns-Ravens on with sound on 49ers game. Go Jax & Cleveland. Late games - I'll start off watching Giants-Cowboys and hope for a miracle. More likely than not though I'll spend most of the on Red Zone or Lions-Chargers.
Here ya' go, Teej. Your name in lights! Good luck, sir. Week 10 College and NFL Pick ‘Em: SportsChump vs The Wife Hates Sports vs TJ - Sports Chump
Mac Jones benched with less than 2 minutes to go in the Patriots game. Wow. Odd timing to do it. I can't say I'm upset at the Pats downfall.
When they kept panning to him, and not a single Patriot player was coming to console him on the sidelines after that final pick, I knew his time was done.
Not bad, I guess. I went 3-2 but my most confident pick went out in flames. I guess the 49ers are not on a free fall after all and the Jaguars have not figured it out. I was told on twitter by @cowboyzhaterz69 that this win doesn't count so I guess I should not talk about it. Next week we get the Panthers so I'm guessing that one won't count either. Can we make the playoffs with only 9 games that count? Asking for a friend.
I would pay ridiculous amounts of money to get Stephen A. Smith out of my TV Screen and especially of my ESPN phone notifications. I can't stand that guy. "Stephen A. ridicules Cowboys fans" Yeah, yeah...I get it. We're the punching bag. No, I won't give you a like...not even a click. Just leave me alone.
Cowboys LB Leighton Vander Esch is out for the remainder of the season and his career is in question due to a neck injury, Jerry Jones announced on 105.3 The Fan. Damn. I hope his career isn't over. I never have an issue with a player grabbing as much money as they can because it can end in a matter of seconds. Best of luck to him in recovery.
Tough one for sure. After his rookie year he struggled a bit for a couple of years, and was starting to his form again earlier this year. This offseason he signed a 5 million (I think) per year deal, not sure how much of it was guaranteed, but it's something.
The media wants the Bills to be good, but they're bad. It's amazing how they make all the excuses for Josh Allen after performances like last night's. The media wants the Cowboys to be bad. They're not exactly "good"...but they're not bad...and it drives them crazy. Dak had a spectacular game...but that one pick, uh? I'm done with talking heads shows.
Desean Watson is now done for the season with a broken bone in his shoulder. I can't imagine how much they regret trading Dobbs. Crazy.
Dobbs? How about those 3 1st round picks? The Browns are loaded defensively. They could've used the Watson resources (the picks and the 50 million against the cap per year) on loading it even more. They didn't even need him.
This might end up right there with the Herschell Walker trade. The Texans hit the jackpot with Stroud (thanks a lot, Panthers) and have the ammo to build a dinasty.
