Might as well do it now because I might not be able tomorrow... On thursday it's Browns vs. Steelers so we're probably back to the boring thursday games (just wait for Cooper Rush vs. Danny Devito next week). The steelers seem to be this year's "good bad team" that hangs on with the contenders but...well, they lost to the Cowboys, for crying out loud!! Speaking of the Cowboys, they opened, and remained as 10 point underdogs to Washington. TO WASHINGTON!!! I don't think that has ever happened in my lifetime!! This horrible season can't end fast enough. Get me to Christmas, already!! I need a break!!
alright, we're up and running this week. 2024 Week Twelve College and NFL Pick ‘Em: Heavy D’s Heavenly Delights - Sports Chump And before you wager on my picks, keep in mind I had the Steelers minus last night.
Someone with poor photoshop skills posted a pick of Daniel Jones in the Cowboys roster and fooled a few journalists. To be honest, though...I think Jones would be an upgrade over Cooper Rush and Trey Lance...not by a lot, but an upgrade nonetheless...
Putting this in the correct thread: I was surprised to see that the Browns beat the Steelers last night. They also beat the Ravens earlier this year. Division games can be unpredictable. What I'll be watching: Lions at Colts - I'll be big time rooting for the upset for the Eagles to finish with the #1 seed in the NFC. Cowboys at Commanders - I'm actually going to be pulling for the Cowboys. I'll feel dirty doing it. 49ers at Packers - I probably should be pulling for the 49ers for Eagles playoff seeding, but I really want the 49ers out of it. Eagles at Rams - This one worries me. The Rams are healthy and playing well. I fear the Eagles may be looking ahead to the Ravens next week. It's going to be a great test for the Eagles young secondary. A win puts the Eagles in a great position going forward but a loss really makes things shaky for seeding with a tough stretch upcoming.
Saquon is unbelievable. 255 rushing yards and over 300 total yards yesterday. I can't imagine what Giants fans are thinking watching him behind a good offensive line. Great win by the Eagles but they have lost Brandon Graham for the season. He has been a beast this year. With Huff out for another 5 games or so, I'm not sure who is going to be able to get a pass rush from the outside going forward. Lions continue to be the real deal. Cowboys-Commanders ending was nuts. Game was pretty boring until the 4th quarter. That was a fun watch. RIP 49ers.
Of course the Cowboys got their sh!t together the minute I bet against them XD I'm among the ones that want the highest possible draft pick so they can waste it on a RB...but beating Washington is always nice. I still remember they were our only win in that legendary 1-15 season. It never matters who is good and who isn't. The Chiefs struggling to beat the Panthers was not in my bingo card, though...
I just saw the 4th quarter highlights...I missed a heck of a rollercoaster ride right there. We won another game on a special teams blunder by a Dan Quinn coached team LMAO.
