I'll have a crazy day tomorrow to the point that I think I'd rather work so might as well... Two games on Christmas day: Chiefs vs. Steelers and Ravens vs. Texans. Both games with heavy playoff implications. I might be able to watch the early one because I love me some black magic. On thursday it's Seahawks vs. Bears, and three games on saturday: Chargers vs. Patriots, Broncos vs. Bengals and Cards vs. Rams. We have a full week of football except for tuesday and friday. Fantastic!! As for Sunday, it's once again Cowboys vs. Eagles week. Cowboys are 8-pt underdogs and I'm on a roll betting on the underdog Cowboys lately. Give the money line, please. I might have gone a little crazy with the credit card this holiday season...lol. Merry Christmas, GIF people!! Both of you!! Dawk, Chump, have a fantastic holiday and an even better new year. We'll stick around as long as the servers hang on.
Cowboys are shutting down Ceedee Lamb for the rest of the season. He's been struggling with shoulder issues lately. The expectation is that he won't need surgery and will be good to go for the offseason program in May. Not feeling good about the Cowboys ML anymore. Lamb is our whole offense.
I hope you guys had a good Christmas! I did not watch either game on Christmas Day or last night's offensive slugfest between the Seahawks and Bears. I have plans tomorrow so I probably won't catch any of the Saturday games either. On Sunday I'll be watching: Cowboys at Eagles - It looks like Hurts most likely will not be playing so it will be Kenny Pickett starting. Pickett isn't 100% either so I'm not sure what the Eagles offense will look like. We caught a break with Lamb being out for sure. It's an important game for the Eagles to win the division so they can rest their starters next week. This almost has the feel of a preseason game instead of the heated rivalry. I don't care how ugly it looks as long as we win. Packers at Vikings - The Vikes have not been getting as much respect as they probably deserve. A win here will give them that as well as a shot at the #1 seed. Should be a fun game.

I'm glad Saquon got his 2000 yards. I don't want to see him next week though. I can't even imagine being a Colts fan. Getting eliminated by the Giants??
The fact that McCarthy let Kellen Moore go because he wanted to "run the damn ball", just for Moore go run an offense with a 2,000 yard running back for a division rival would be hilarious if it didn't make me so mad. I knew Moore was good, but he was held back by McCarthy and his 25-year old offense. And OHBYTHEWAY!!!! Cowboys rank in the bottom 3 in rushing. So there's that.
Jerry said today on the radio (very proudly, I might add) that lots of Eagles fans congratulated him for "the great job he's doing". As in a Trumpian "I'm doing a great job. The best job. Everybody says so. Listen to Eagles fans". I'm baffled...
Hahha….I heard the audio of the fan sarcastically congratulating him on the job he’s done. In no way did I think Jerry thought he was serious. Wow. I also found Micah's comments about it being a close game outside of 5 big plays hilarious.
Some people say he's not serious but I'm 99% convinced he'd take any compliment wherever he can find it, no matter who it comes from. Billionaires are constantly starving for validation. Micah should shut up one of these days if he wants any of those holds to be actually called. I think he just annoys the refs and they let them do anything to him. If holding calls were consistent Micah would average 30 sacks per season...
Cowboys have cut Ezekiel Elliott. Again. They said it was a mutual decision but I wouldn't be so sure about that. This will probably be my last post of 2024. Happy New Year, GIF!!
Eagles will be resting their starters next week instead of letting Saquon go for the rushing record. I’m so relieved.
