The Cowboys have an NFL record 4 games on thursday this season: Season opener, Thanksgiving, week after Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Just great. I can almost never watch a thursday game because of work. But at least no international games, which is nice.

The Eagles are the first team to play against 11 teams that made the playoffs the previous season. No other team had even played 9.

The Cowboys will be the first team to play 6 games in a row against teams that won 11 games the previous season.

Brutal schedules for NFC East teams.

49ers reached a deal with Brock Purdy: 5 years 265 million. I haven't seen the guarantees, though.

From last pick to highest paid ever (in 49ers history). What a story...

The Eagles have extended Nick Sirianni. Length of contract and terms not disclosed. Very well deserved though. He's probably been close to fired a couple of times, but has always adjusted and not been stubborn to just one particular style of offense. He also seems to communicate very well with players and coaches.

The Tush-Push was 2 votes short of being banned. Good, I say. Either teams learn to stop it, or someone suffers a horrific injury and THEN it gets banned, like the kickoff.

All but one Eagles 2025 opponent voted to ban the Tush Push (the Lions). Eagles non-opponents in 2025 voted 9-8 to keep it. I hope they use it on the first play against the Packers.

My only complaint about it is that they need to flag the Center for offside when he convers the ball completely. Ball needs to be in front.
