A lot of Bears fans feel an affinity for Jarrett Payton, the son of the late great Bears Hall of Famer Walter Payton. Jarrett had a couple brief stints in the NFL, and everyone who loved Walter wanted to see him do well, but he ultimately couldn't quite make it in the NFL. But he's making it in a big way in the CFL. Playing for the Montreal Alouettes, Payton was named the CFL's offensive player of the week after running 20 times for 160 yards and a touchdown to lead the Alouettes to a 30-18 win over the Calgary Stampeders. Payton is only 26, so he still has a chance of making it back to the NFL some day, but the CFL is probably the right place for him. Clearly, he's making the most of his opportunity there.

I have to agree with that statement, I wanted to see him do well. But you have to perform in the NFL to stay here, right Chris Simms?

I was also hoping Jarret could cut it in the NFL, I remember he was with the Titans for a little bit but he didn't do too well there. Nice to hear he's doing good in the CFL at least.
