Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the KC Chiefs

Did anyone catch the 1st episode on HBO last night? I thought it was a real good inside look at the Chiefs. I've always had a lot of respect for Herm Edwards. I am interested in seeing how they further discuss Larry Johnson's hold out. The two players dancing in the locker room was absolutely hysterical.

 

we watched it as well, I also enjoyed it. it was in fact one of the better ones IMO, I hated the Cowboys one a few years back, that sitting on the bed strumming a guitar singing to his "roommate" was so totally gay...lol

 

I actually hated the Cowboys one as well because it just seemed like an hour long infomercial for Jerry Jones. The Ravens had far and away the best one because the personalities on the team at the time were great. Tony Siragusa, Shannon Sharpe, Ray Lewis, Rod Woodson etc were really funny and great in front of the camera. They let their personalities show and it provided a great inside look into players lives at Camp. The second season with my Cowboys was boring in comparison because the same level of personalities weren't there and it focused so much more on the management side with Jerry Jones doing the majority of interviewing. I enjoy the player sides more often than not.

 

This weeks episode seems to have gotten into the in's and outs of training camp and roster moves etc. I wonder if HBO or ESPN would ever consider following a team behind the scenes like this for an entire season. Though I'm unsure which team would want that many camera's around all the time.

I cancelled HBO a while back, so haven't gotten to see Hard Knocks.

Yeah Sweets...it certainly makes it almost impossible to watch anything on youtube or even download anything worthwhile.

 

who do you think the Chiefs will go at QB?

 

If they're smart, no one currently on the roster :icon_razz: *sigh* But if they JUST HAVE TO, I would go with Croyle over Huard at this point.

Hmmmmm...well, it's nice to know they have beautiful wives...I just wanna see them play some REAL football!

 

Watched the show today, it's pretty interesting.
