Theismann to Be Honored Sunday

I know a lot of fans (including Skins fans) can't stand Theismann the commentator which is how they may know him better but as a player, Joey T was tough as nails, gave his all on the field and was a big part of the redskins success in the early 80's.

At first I was like why honor this clown. Then I remembered that he actually used to play football and won a Super Bowl. How quickly a crapty broadcast career makes you forget all that. As long as he doesn't ever talk again on my tv, go ahead and honor Theesman.

Agreed Chris, I like Joe, but as an announcer, he drives me up the wall, I don't know what it is, but it drives me crazy, he actually thought Sammy Baugh played at RFK, MORON.

 

Whenever I hear Theisman's voice on TV, I just hit the mute button.

 

I usually don't watch the Redskins games with the TV commentators, I put on the Redskins Radio on, I like hearing Larry and Sonny talk cause they're hardcore fans.

 

For me, it normally depends on who is announcing the Bears games.

 

Oh, you mean who announces that you all are losing and won't be going anywhere the nicest?
