Cheaters? Hardly.

First of all, can everyone shut the heck up with the "Patriots are cheaters" bullcrap? For one thing, it's already old news. They beat the Chargers while being the most heavily watched team in the league. With no chance to get away with cheating, they still whooped the pants off a team that was 14-2 last season. In a perfect world, that would quiet the black helicopter chasers to a dull roar. Instead, it's probably just going to get the Pats fans out of the woodwork, yelling and screaming about being better than everyone else, while being watched like schoolchildren on a sugar buzz by the commish and his team of lackeys. In a perfect world, there would also not be public outcry about something that's been in the league since the Super Bowl was just a figment of someone's imagination. Listen to any former coach or GM, "cheating" has been around for decades, and everyone who has succeeded has done it. Jimmy Johnson was just saying on Sunday that he had an intern whose specific duty was to go through the visitor's coaching box trash after a game in Irving. And you want to crucify Belichick for videotaping the Jets sidelines, while your coaches do the same, if not as blatantly? Welcome to Hypocrite-ville! Population, you.

Secondly, Patriots fans, shut the heck up trying to defend your coach. He bent the rules, he got caught, he paid his fine, he apoligized. Move on.

Thirdly, Patriots fans, stop crucifying your coach with the rest of the league. Show some freaking team spirit. You might not like the guy, you may hate him, but you're just an extension of the team. The 12th man. Your support of the coach is just as critical as the players' support.

So, to everyone:

GET. THE FREAK. OVER IT.

 

Good rant.Agreed on all points.The real shame is players who gave it there all as a team,and shelved individual egos to win 3 Super Bowls, have to listen to this garbage they cheated to get them.That is a travesty,and I trully hope this team lays a beating on the NFL thats never been seen before.There will be no need to get this team up for every game or the danger of a let down.I'm really looking forward to this season more so than any other.

I use to say that to my college professors before each exam...the dumb SOB's would stare at me the entire time and my friends were able to cheat.:icon_lol:

the patriots will always have a dark cloud over them and you have nobody else to blame but your head coach so don't get angry with the media/public over the bad press, get angry with your the guy who did wrong.

Good post. It was hilarious when the story first came out, now its just getting freaking ridiculous. The punishments have been handed out, the Patriots have since whooped the Chargers asses, shut the heck up about it already.
