Which RB should start for the Cowboys

I love 'em both. For some reason I do believe that Jones just hasnt been as lucky as Barber w/ play calling/development. It seems he gets to the line faster than Barber but the hole never seems to be open enough for him. Barber seems to always get to the line just as a crease is forming b/c he's not quite as quick. They both run hard and Barber is really tough to tackle.

 

Barber is a beast. He's scored a td in 14 of his last 17 games. Why is Jones even part of the game plan any more?

 

I picked Barber, You need patience at times and Jones doesn't seem to have any.I don't watch enough Cowboys games to know but maybe Barber is as quick but is being patient waiting for holes to develope.

 

I picked Barber...I like Jones as well, but I don't think either of them would be quite as good without the other.

 

Thats a good point regarding patience, but I do believe they both help the other because they keep each other fresh and not worn down as the season goes along. I realize Barber is by far more productive, but if Dallas let Jones go, then I see Barbers production and the Cowboys running success decreasing significantly.

 

I don't watch them much, both rushers are nasty, but I would think Jones, considering once he's in the open, he's pretty much gone due to speed, but then again, Barber is.

The only reason Barber has scored 14 tds in 17 games, is because they Use Jones to get down to scoring range with, then bring Barber in for fresh legs, to pound the ball. I'm not voting for either one, I honestly love the way Dallas has it set up as is right now, Let Julius get you to where you need to be, which he does, then pound Marion. For All I care, they can start 1 week, come off the bench 1 week, and each start 8 games a season if they wanted. They got a good thing goin right now, no reason to mess it up because of Us, the Fans want more stats. a W is all I care about.

yeah that sure was the case, we won... what'd Marshawn Lynch do? ..... lol... Steelers D shut em down, i havent looked at the stats yet, but uhh.... i'm almost sure the Patriots did the same thing today. :)

 

The only reason why I say ju jones should start cause im a firm believer in if it aint broke, then don't try to fix it....dem boys are stomping teams here in the beginning of the season and eventhough barber is not starting he is still putting up beast like numbers...
Now I will say this Jones better fix his lil slump and fast or he'll follow suit like his brother and end up somewhere else....:icon_violent-smiley

 

Both should be used but Barber is becoming better and better with each game and should get the bulk of the load IMO. Jones is an all or nothing runner, he either gets a short gain or breaks it, there is no consistency. The Cowboys will only be able to commit to one of them in future given the cap and Romo wanting a new deal so it's time to make their bed and lie in it.
