What with all of the evacuees at the stadium, anybody have any idea when/where the game might be played?

Here's what I've heard so far:
    -LA Coliseeum
    -Wherever the Cards play
    -Reliant
    -Somewhere in San Antonio

My guess is Sun Devil Stadium. The Monday Night Football game was there a few years back under these exact same circumstances, and its already been announced that our new stadium isn't available this week.

As of Tuesday evening, the Chargers had no new information on the location of Sunday’s game. Qualcomm Stadium is currently housing several thousand evacuees. San Diego State postponed its game scheduled for Saturday evening. The Chargers issued a statement Tuesday night saying that the team is in communication with Mayor Jerry Sanders as well as police and firefighters to determine the best way to deal with the issue.

“Protecting the public safety is the Mayor’s top goal, and the Chargers will continue to cooperate with the Mayor to achieve this goal,” the statement read.

As far as players and coaches are concerned, they must simply be prepared regardless of venue.

“From the standpoint of our organization and our players, we’d love to play it here in front of our fans and provide a positive influence in this situation,” Turner said. “If that doesn’t happen, we still have to be ready. We’re just focused on preparing for the game right now.”

The Chargers and the NFL are also considering whether playing the game in San Diego is in the best interest of the community.

It appears likely the Chargers will end up playing in Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, if they can't play at home, sources said last night. The Cowboys have a bye Sunday.

Dallas makes sense because the game would likely draw more fans than would a game in Arizona, which would ease the financial losses the Chargers will incur. Also, the Chargers would count on the fact LaDainian Tomlinson is from Waco and went to school at nearby TCU, as well as Dallas fans' acrimony for Houston, to ensure the crowd is not pro-Texans.

i know its the cowboys stadium, but isnt this way closer so that Texans pretty much are favored as the Home team crowd wise here? seems like an advantage for team and the texans fans

It wouldn't surprise me if they made the Charger play in Texas, they made the Saints play the Giants in NY a few years ago.

Sorry but in no way would it be close to a home game unless

I could drive 4 hours and watch the Dynamo Vs Fc Dullas then stay two days and Watch the Texans beat up on the Chargers.
