  2. K Train

    K Train Do You Honeycutt?

its a sad day in the world of offensive tackles when max starks tops a list

  3. P16

    P16 posting while intoxicated

Looks pretty good to me, though most of those people won't actually be there by the time free agency rolls around

  4. eaglesrule4ever

    eaglesrule4ever Pro Bowler

Yea they won't be but anyways i think max starks is that high because of his size that guy is huge hes like 6'7" i think im not sure though.

  5. ollysj

    ollysj iKraut

Packers only had Morency on this list. I guess he will not make the roster in 2008. Grant did a great job and Wynn will stay at GB too. Jackson is questionable

  6. P16

    P16 posting while intoxicated

Yeah, Karlos Dansby will be back also, he'll be resigned before the year is over. If we let him go to FA, I'll be getting life for murdering Rod Graves.

  7. AB83Rules

    AB83Rules 49ers Cap Guru

Yeah like P16 said, alot of these guys will be re-signed or i expect them to re-sign, like Dansby, maybe Suggs, Derek Anderson.

But none the less there are some good FA's available.

ANd there are a lot of teams with a good amount of cap room.

here is a look at commted salaries, this is from earlier in the season, got this from AdamJT16(or something like that) from the KFFL Message Boards.

    2008 CAP COMMITMENT

(with number of players under contract in parentheses)

    Tennessee (34) $71.842 million
    San Diego (44) $79.729 million
    Buffalo (44) $81.177 million
    Cincinnati (44) $81.268 million
    Jacksonville (42) $82.263 million
    San Francisco (46) $83.472 million
    New Orleans (37) $84.076 million
    Arizona (36) $86.531 million
    Dallas (40) $88.593 million
    Miami (40) $88.622 million
    N.Y. Giants (46) $89.156 million
    Oakland (40) $90.133 million
    Cleveland (41) $90.306 million
    Houston (38) $90.951 million
    Detroit (40) $91.488 million
    Tampa Bay (47) $92.869 million
    Kansas City (43) $94.132 million
    Green Bay (47) $94.506 million
    Chicago (49) $94.857 million
    Pittsburgh (39) $95.017 million
    Denver (41) $95.279 million
    Minnesota (45) $95.794 million
    Philadelphia (48) $96.051 million
    N.Y. Jets (43) $98.231 million
    Seattle (41) $102.206 million
    St. Louis (38) $103.059 million
    Indianapolis (42) $104.561 million
    New England (42) $105.131 million
    Atlanta (47) $108.861 million
    Carolina (34) $109.899 million
    Baltimore (42) $110.014 million
    Washington (45) $136.270 million

I also expect a good number of these FA's to be franchised, like Suggs, Samuel, etc...

Unlike past years Tackle isnt a great list this year, the biggest name is Max Starks. Not many franchise LT's out there, heck i dont see one out there that deserves 35m+ over 6 years.

  8. TJ

    TJ Dez Caught It

Tony Romo already signed an extension with the Cowboys, so you can take him off the list. Other than that, it looks nice.

  9. dolphindude13

    dolphindude13 Jack Of All Trades

There's some very good players that will be available...hopefully Miami targets a few of these guys like Bryant Johnson, Jared Allen since they actually have some money to spend for a change. Johnson has the possibility of being a #1 WR if he gets out from behind Boldin and Fitzgerald. The quality of the defensive free agents looks very strong!

  10. DarthGator

    DarthGator Global Mod at Fans

    Didnt Mike Alstott retire?

So, are you assuming Bob Sanders and Dallas Clark resign with the Colts, or just did you just not know they were potential upcoming FAs?

  14. AB83Rules

    AB83Rules 49ers Cap Guru

wowsa, i had no clue they were potential FA's. That would definately make them at the top of the list of Avilable FA's by Position.

I would like to see a widereciever like randy moss in philly next year and a cornerback like asante samuels in philly next year but it definetly won't happen but a man can dream can't he.
