Toiling away on a cross-country flight Wednesday afternoon, I missed the beginning of our in-flight movie because I was too busy staring in disbelief at the USA Today sports section. Spilled across its first page? A collage of head shots of the 60 quarterbacks who have started an NFL game this season.

    That's right, 60 quarterbacks.

The scary thing is that there are people who could name all of them.

I'll see if I can finish it off for you.

But I think Kerry Collins started at least 1 game maybe 2.
I also think Kelly Holcomb started a game.

And I dont think this is one of them but did Lorenzen start a game earlier in the year for the Giants? I remember him playing but cant remember if he started.

And I didn't know Walter started this year but the Raiders switch qbs up so much that I get confused.

hmmm I dont know. I'm sure if I put my thinking cap on I can come up with the other one.
Pretty crazy though. Theres been a lot of qbs start this year and even more have played.

Holcomb was the Vikings QB I couldn't think of.

The NFL wanted parity. They got it. There are too many teams and the league is saturated with mediocre players. As I have stated before there are 4 really good teams, 4 really bad teams, and everybody else is stuck in the middle every year. And unfortunately The Ravens are one of the really bad teams this year. Sports is a very cyclical journey. Which gives everybody hope cus there's always tomorrow. It's only a day away.

Looking to this from a different angle, who are the QBs, that start every game for their team.

    Patriots - Tom Brady
    Bengals - Carson Palmer
    Steelers - Ben Roethlinsberger
    Colts - Peyton Manning
    Titans - Vince Young
    Chargers - Phillip Rivers
    Broncos - Jay Cutler
    Cowboys - Tony Romo
    Giants - Eli Manning
    Packers - Brett Favre
    Lions - Jon Kitna
    Seahawks- Matt Hasselbeck

    Any others?

If my list is right, 20 teams started 48 QBs or 2.4 on average :icon_confused:

I think I thought of 2 more people Dam.
They both played within the past few weeks.

Luke Mckown for the Bucs and Moore(I cant think of his first name) for the Panthers.

And good list Olly... Jay is one of those qbs. :)

Yeah, those are the other 2 I probably missed. I didn't know either had started. Oh well, 57/60 is 95% last I checked, that's not too bad, plus I even named the next starting QB.

Yea its not bad. I would have got 58 though :p

But yea I remember Luke starting because he started the same day that Josh beat Denver and both Mckowns did good.

And I remember Moore because he beat Seattle and I have Hassleback on my FF team.
