Predict how many times teams will be on Sunday/Monday Night football: I'm guessing: New England 6 Colts 6 Dallas 6 Green Bay 6 San Diego 4 Titans 4 New York Giants 4 Washington 4 Jacksonville 4 Pittsburgh 4 Eagles 4 Browns 3 Bills 3 Bengals 2 Denver 2 Vikings 3 Bears 2 Lions 2 Cards 2 Not counting say Dallas vs. New York or Packers vs. Seattle.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Titans landed on Monday Night Football twice again. I'd give them maybe one Sunday Night game tops.
I think each team is only allowed 3 Monday night games, and one Sunday night game - but I could be wrong.
Darren, thats like 35 weeks of football. and I think Atlanta will grace everyones tv once next season for MNF.
Seemed like Dallas was on 5 times this year...and Redskins had TWO flex games added, so that's why the top teams in Cowboys, Pats, Packers, Colts could wind up with more then 3 games. Plus there could be games where Cowboys take on Packers, then Pats take on Colts, and surely Sunday Night or Monday is going to do flips trying to get those contests that are not made for a 1pm or 4pm game.
Six, actually. That's why the Patriots and Cowboys couldn't have late-season games added on the flex scheduling. I'm way too lazy to look at EVERY team's schedule, so I'll just look at New England's (big surprise, I know, right?)... and really... there's not much there in the way of potential prime-time games. The home schedule outside of the division sucks (Pittsburgh would likely be the opening night opponent if the Pats win the Super Bowl, since Opening Night goes to the home of the champion), and the only interesting away games look to be in Seattle (or maybe I'm just being selfish), San Diego, and Indy.
I think we'll see the Colts on SNF a couple of times and I think Monday Night Football will be blessed with AFC North games mostly. It'd be good to see the Colts@Jags on MNF again this year, that could be interesting.
You are, because the Patriots played on Sunday Night 4 times, including back-to-back weeks. No team can appear on MNF/SNF more than a combined 6 times. And Sunday Night has become the new "glamorous" national bidding, thanks to the flex scheduling.
I myself could care less who is on the Sunday and Monday Night Games, as long as the games are good!! Im sick of Monday Night having joke butt games.
Man, I hear you. Ever since ABC sold out, the games on ESPN have been JOKE BUTTED, including the 49ers/Seattle game> They better never have another game like that EVER! That was the worse thing I saw on TV on MNF, they better get it right next year!
