I know it's a little earily to be taking about this subject, but I want to know who you guys think they should draft next year. I personally think they should get a defensive end, Chris Long, he would be the perfect fit for there team. The 6'4 284pound Cavalier has been a standout on defensive. He's fast, strong and tough against the run, and quick off the snap. Best of all he can play both in the 4-3 and 3-4 defense, he would fit well in Clancy Pendergast playbook. Long might be that one player we need to be a complete shut out defense. Chris come form a football family his father Howie played for the Raiders.
:rollinglaugh: Like I'm wondering who New England will pick with our pick in the first round? Maybe I should leave a post asking them that. :rollinglaugh:
With the stuff I read about the Cards wanting to dump Edge, I think they should go with John Stewart or maybe some good CB, a lot of depth at CB this upcoming draft.
49erGenius - what new england does the san frans pick has nothing to do with the thread. stay on topic. with that much depth in cb's they can wait. the cards defense needs a pass rusher. chris long is an interesting thought. i'd have to look through the players coming up to see what is out there.
Hmmm, I know the Giants and Arizona meet next year, and Arizona never does much in the season...why would a Giants fan be concerned over who Arizona is drafting? I hope somebody can explain the logic.
