Chargers/Saints... At least we'll get to see LT, Gates, Merriman, Bush, Brees...

Not a very attractive game, but it does showcase some great athletes that us Brits will get to see!

Thought they would stick to east coast teams.......that's gonna be one hell of a flight for San Diego.

Not an attractive game? That's two of the best offenses around in the NFL when healthy. It's a major step up from the Giants and Dolphins this year.

    NO NO NO NO NO!

Keep America's game in America. NFL Europe has failed twice, what makes Goodell think that England cares?

    Cletusaurus YES! YES! YES!

Exactly what I was thinking. Chargers go cross-country, then over an ocean? Come on... good matchup, wrong place to do it.

Oh man, and it'll be 8 years before the real rematch takes place. :tsk: An American fan should be ticked off over this. Can't believe they want an NFC vs. AFC match yet again!

Probably when he sees British members on football forums like this, and on www.nfluk.com - the UK's own NFL site.

I must admit, it was very very late when I posted that. I was most likely looking at the Saints defence when I said 'not attractive', I will retract my statement now that I'm awake and admit that it is quite an attractive game. :icon_lol:

Sucks for the Chargers, I think they def. give them the BYE Week after that game or i hope they do.!!! It's loaded with talent and should be a damn good game to watch.

english fans care a damn lot lot about seeing proper regular season games in the uk, i was with thousands last year that saw the fins play the giants, yes it wasn the best game but it was a fantastic atmosphere and i think no matter who came over here to play it would be a sellout, the fans here are just as knowledgable as the fans in the states and we love to see any games at all, i'll be trying my best to get to another game and watching the chargers against the saints would be an excellent platform for the nfl in england to promote a highre tempo and higher scoring game for people who arnt a nfl fan to get into the game.
