the big plastic facemask kills it. i'm sure the newer material is harder, but is that better? that just means a harder helmet in collisions...at some point you just have to draw the line and man up for the hurt.

the deal about face-fitting or whatever is interesting though. maybe instead of the grill type masks a solid protective surface? maybe cut some sound holes out? i don't know but one thing is for sure: the gladiator looks weak.
