Anyone Planning On Going To The Draft In April?

Are any members making plans to go to the Draft in NYC in April? If you are, take some pics to post up here when you get back, I know that a lot of us will be online and hopefully in here when the draft starts.

 

I missed last year's draft because I had to work on my stupid social service which I needed to do in order to graduate (which basically means work your butt off for free). This year I'll be glued to NFL Network all day long...unless, of course, I have to work :icon_evil:

But if someone becomes The Official GIF reporter at the draft, it'd be sweet :icon_cheesygrin:

I can't imagine how boring it must be to actually attend the Draft. :sleep:
Unless they show tons of highlights to entertain the audience...

 

I'd love to go. I just have to rely on internet streams though. :icon_sad:

If someone goes and makes themselves a badge saying 'Gridironfans.com Reporter' that'd be awesome. It'd look legit too so you may be able to get in with the press. :icon_lol:

In my country, you must do certain hours of social service if you want to graduate from college. Specially if you go to a public school... :icon_cool:

I wouldn't mind being bored sitting at the draft watching all these college guys getting drafted, I watch it at home, it's got to be better there in NYC.

 

I've always watched the draft with a couple of friends so it's not too bad. However, half way towards the first round it does get bored but meh. I don't think I'd want to go to NYC and sit there for 3 hours. Would be nice to see some pics from someone who went there though.

 

If the Steelers had one of the Top 5 picks, I would consider going...

 

lol i'd love to go just to listen to the jets and giants fans, theyre hilarious when it comes to their teams picks..

 

For those who go, a little heads up. Go to bed early and wake up even earlier as the line forms for tickets well before sunrise. It is first come first served. You can not buy tickets in advanced. I wanted to go years back but I am not gambling on spending $$ for a trip to New York and then be shut out.

 

It still wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. The bars in Manhattan are draft party scenes.

 

im gonna go i went last year its long as hell but i love booing at great quarterbacks thats always fun. This year im gonna boo the offensive lineman when we take one over derick harvey and desean jackson hopefully one of them doesnt drop out of the nfl just to smoke pot!!!!!!
