Where there's smoke there's fire usually. I doubt this just popped up out of no where. Taylor hasn't been happy for the last couple of years for one reason or another......I would hate to see him in another uniform but it wouldn't suprise me in the least.
Its only a matter of time. I'm sure the Phins are thrilled about him joining the 'Dancing With the Stars' mess. I've been hearing this rumor for a few years now.
I think they are trying to keep it close to the vest, as they are hoping the Cowboys or some other team will want to trade with them for the #1 pick. If nobody bites, they will take Long and cut Taylor. If they get a good trade offer, they will drop down and may or may not take a DE, and don't want to let Taylor go before they find out who they will be drafting.
Unfortunately it's a buisness now and no player is the "face of a franchise" like it used to be.......everyone is expendable.
well i'll be sad to see jt go but we are re-biulding for the future and we're certainly going nowhere fast this season so maybe if we can get a good deal for him then it would be better for him (as he might go to a team that will challenge next year) and us that get draft choices etc
^^^Which gives more credence to him being gone imo. Let him go try and get himself a ring, Fins get a pick (3rd at best) and everyone wins.
I think they are just trying to keep it under the radar so I don't think anyone should take that comment so seriously.
