    NFL owners awarded Super Bowl XXV to Tampa Stadium. The game wound up being one of the most memorable in league history as the Giants defeated the Bills, 20-19.

    NFL clubs approved a recommendation by the Expansion and Realignment Committee to add two teams for the 1994 season, resulting in six divisions of five teams each. The two teams would wind up being the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers.

    NFL clubs awarded Super Bowl XXIX to the city of Miami. The 49ers defeated the Chargers, 49-26, in that game as San Francisco QB Steve Young set a Super Bowl record with six touchdown passes on Jan. 30, 1995.
