I guess most of you are reading your teams camp reports and will be paying attention to the pre-season games. Here's your chance to look a smart arse in 6 months time. Pimp one of your teams (or another team if you like) low round rookies or undrafted free agents (or a guy who did nothing expect hang on the practice squad last year) for success this coming season. Lets say you can't pick anyone higher than the 4th round. For the Redskins, I think on defense Justin Tryon will get involved in a lot of defensive packages and make some sort of impact or some big plays. On offense, it's all pretty established but I think UDFA Andrew Crummey makes the roster and will be the back-up center. It'll only take an injury or too (knocks on wood) for him to see the field though.
Grimes will be our starting CB opposite Houston. They are raving that he is the best athlete on the Falcons and was the reason Hall was expendable.
I think Adrian Arrington has a good chance seeing as he was drafted in the 7th round. He's a perfectly capable WR and probably didn't get as much praise as he deserved because he was in the shadow of Mario Manningham at Michigan. As for the Jaguars, Anthony Controne (Fullback from Maine) looks like he's doing brilliantly in Camp.
We dident have a 4th round pick last year and everyone lower than that was cut besides brent celek lol.
No undrafted free agents? No low round picks this year? From a team other than the Redskins, Dominique Barber at safety for the Texans. Slipped in the draft because he was surrounded by crap in the Minnesota secondary - he earns a starting berth by years end.
He wasn't really a low round pick, although I suppose that depends on your own personal definition of low round.
according to the parameters set in this thread he counts he was a fourth rounder except for not being a technical rookie that is
Ray Rice is turning everybody's head in camp and do not sleep on Tavares Gooden, the linebacker from The U.
I think quintin demps was a 4th rounder. He has been all over the ball at training camp. I think hes going to be a beast. Cant wait to see him on the football field.
