What Round would you draft RB, Jamal Lewis?

Do you think he is good value at Round 4, 5 or 6?

If he is available in 3 you stole him.

Yeah I guess that does have a say in the situation. if there is 8 teams maybe even 10 but still I think he is round 2-3 material.

Here's the thing - and I mentioned this a few months ago - I can keep him on my roster this season along with Plaxico Burress and they would count as either my 4-5 or 5-6 round picks...that is to be determined (they were both 5th round picks last season)...which I think is good value for both of those players.

I need only start one running back...

The reason I ask is I've seen mock drafts that have Lewis going as high as round one and as low as round three...I'm just trying to get a feel of what other people think...

great oline - weapons in the passing game - I would take him at the bottom of the first / top of the second. Those two reasons are key to RB's having successful seasons

Lewis is a good back, but he won't have the same season like last year. Smart teams won't draft him until at least the third round. Any later than that would be solid value.

I was thinking the same, but I don't think he'll be as successful as he was last season, but he should get all the carries. Especially around the goal line. But that backslide that could occur in Cleveland scares me a little bit and that's why I am contemplating Santonio Holmes over him which I think wouldn't be the value pick as I think he'll be drafted in Rounds 5 or 6 anyway...

based on his age and his oline alone should rank him in the second round. the possibility of a winning team that gets to grind out a game with that good oline helps his prospects even more.

He has been injury prone in the past and when the season starts he'll be 29. Do you think he can go another full season carrying the load and not getting injured? I'm thinking he can't, but my thoughts right now are, he's still got value at 4,5,6th pick...

everyone has the chance to get injured. I almost dismiss that. I'm looking at what talent does he have at the other skill positions? How is the O-line? With the holes created by the oline, he should have far less opportunities to be injured than other players with inferior guys blocking for him
