Rookie halfback Rashard Mendenhall gets his first start tomorrow night. At least one player from this year's rookie draft class will have a chance to do something. Not one other rookie draft pick has played through three games, and only quarterback Dennis Dixon has pulled on a uniform for games other than Mendenhall. Not even Special Teams? Ed Bouchette on the Steelers: Draft class of 2008 -- a class of one?
It's just tough on Ward who follows Eagles ball, almost as close as he does Stealers, Watching Lil D Jax, Quintin Demps, and Trevor Laws all contribute out the gate :applausec:
i'm excited about mendenhall starting....willie has avgd just 2.6 per carry vs raisins...he brings a different style , and requires different adjustments...i look for him to have a good a good day...but i believe heath will be the rock tonite...:icon_cool:
