Week 5 Who Do I Start Thread (WDIS)

WDIS threads will be posted every Monday. All game times listed are EST, the world's time zone.

Please post any roster questions for week 5 in this thread.

Not sure who to start? Post your questions here. Please do not ask to have your entire lineup filled out for you.

All posts must contain the following information for you to get the best answer:

    * Include your league scoring for the players in question.
    * How many do you start at that position?
    * Who are they playing?

    For example:
WDIS Ricky Williams vs NYJ or DeAngelo Williams @ SD. My other starter is Marion Barber.
We start 2 RBs and get 20yds/pt rushing and receiving, td/6pts.

    1pt/20yd rush, 1pt/15yd receiving

Steve Slaton vs IND or Earnest Graham @ DEN

  3. TJ

    TJ Dez Caught It

LenDale White (@ BAL) or Melwede Moore (@ JAX) for a WR/RB flex position.

I'm already starting Barber as my first RB, and Willie Parker is injured. Since it's a big league (20 teams), I'm not allowed to have more than 3 RBs.

Rushing Yards (10 yards per point)
    Rushing Touchdowns (6)
    Receptions (0.5)
Reception Yards (20 yards per point)
    Reception Touchdowns (6)

I'd go with Graham. He has a great match-up against Denver's defense, and I'm still not sure about Indy's defense.

As long as LenDale keeps scoring junk TDs you gotta play him. He has 5 TDs so far.

Slaton's matchup ain't too shabby either. Indianapolis has allowed a league-worst 193 rushing yards per game to opposing backs - they have also given up six receptions, 43 receiving yards and a touchdown per contest.

Yeah, but you KNOW Indy's defense is sometimes better than what the numbers show. Is Bob Sandres playing?

I'd start Slaton personally. IND's run D has been atrocious, Slaton has looked very good and is the unquestioned starter.

I've never been a fan of Graham, and TB seems to be avoiding giving him the ball like he carries the plague.

My WDIS is all over the place this week...

I'm starting Chris Chambers (MIA) over Randy Moss (SF) in a PPR league (otherwise standard scoring) this week. Anyone care to talk me out of it?
Same league, Felix (CIN) or Rudi (CHI)? Rudi is the supposed starter, but until last week Felix has been getting big points.

Different league, standard scoring...Felix (CIN) or Sammy Morris (SF). Going w/Felix at the moment but considering Morris, our run D hasn't been very good so far and Morris seems to get more touches than Felix. Any input appreciated.

Last league, standard scoring...would anyone start Ronnie Brown (SD) over Marshawn Lynch (AZ), Marion Barber (CIN), or Matt Forte (DET). Right now I wouldn't, but I'd like input. I've been shopping Brown, I need a TE and have a plethora (obviously) of starting quality RB's, but no biters. Is Ronnie Brown straight up for Witten, Scheffler or Winslow not more than reasonable?

graham has actually been a solid scorer in fantasy this year, that being said, I would start Slaton as indy's defense is once again a must start against in fantasy

tj, in a flex, I would roll with mewelde as you get points for receptions and mewelde will definitely catch some passes

Point #1. I'd say Chambers is a lock to light up the Fins secondary for 100 yards and a score. Good move imo.

#2 I'd say Felix over Rudi.....I think Dallas runs with authority this week after hardly running at all last week.

Last point I'd say Ronnie Brown for any one of those is MORE than fair.

scorign is 6pts td 1pt every 10 rec yards 1 ppr

    ouch!

Reggie Brown did have 6 catches last week so in a PPR he ain't that bad. Branch hasn't played in what seems like forever so he may be a bit rusty. I'd say Brown is the safer pick.

Matt Forte vs Det or Larry Johnson Vs Car?

Phillip Rivers vs Mia or Jay Cutler vs TB?

reggie brown is the safer pick, and has owned washington in his career

Did you see what turner did to detroit's defense. LJ has a sick week last week, but I would be plaing the matchups.

Flip a coin on the QB's or just go with your gut
