Twenty-nine years after Joe Greene became a star in a Coca-Cola commercial, Troy Polamalu will be cast in the remake. Polamalu, a four-time Pro Bowl strong safety, will revise the role that Greene played in the 1980 Super Bowl ad. It too will be shown during the Super Bowl. Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

No doubt. I searched for a Carol Burnett sketch where they mocked this commercial to no avail. In the sketch they hit the kid with a Coke bottle amongst other things.
Consistently voted the best commercial ever. It's going to be tough to remake that. Hope it's done well! Can't wait to see it...
